BC Card (CEO Choi Won-seok) announced on the April 11th that it has launched a "Overseas NFC Payment" service that can be paid only with a Paybooc app anywhere in the world.

Anyone with Paybooc can use the service through a smartphone as convenient payment at overseas offline merchants by utilizing NFC functions without a real card.

In particular, payment is made with a virtual card number (token), not an actual card number, so fraudulent use due to information leakage can be prevented, making payments more safely.

The process of usage is very simple. You can click on the card image in the Paybooc app and then just set up the Overseas NFC Payment service in the 'Overseas Payment' menu.

The Overseas NFC Payment service will be available at overseas merchants of the VISA and MasterCard brand abroad.

"Through the 'Paybooc Overseas NFC Payment' service, BC Card customers can easily and safely pay with just Paybooc app anywhere in the world," said Cho Myoung-sik, head of BC Card's Paybooc division. "We will expand our partnership with global brands to broaden coverage of the service on much more various merchants abroad in the future."
