BC Card holds ‘Love Sharing Festival’ in Chuseok

  • Over 400 senior and low-income citizens were invited, provided food and daily commodities

BC Card (President and CEO, Joon Hee Suh, www.bccard.com) held ‘Love Sharing Festival’ for socially disadvantaged class on September 10th

‘Love Sharing Festival’ is one of BC Card’s core corporate philanthropic activities, in which BC Card sends its ‘Red Bobcha’ and ‘Locomotive Food Market Truck’ across the nation to serve healthy stamina food and give out basic commodities to low-income families and elderly citizens during national holidays and critical days which mark the change of seasons.

The event was held in Gwangjin Square, Seoul on September 10th and was attended by Mr. Jong Jin Chae, Senior Executive Vice President of BC Card, Mr. Yong Gyu Hwang, President of Seoul Council on Social Welfare, Mr. Jung Sik Oh, Director of Gwangjin-gu Social Welfare Bureau, and 90 volunteer workers from BC Card ‘Red Bobcha’ volunteer group.

More than 400 senior and low-income citizens were invited and provided stamina food, basic commodities and Hangawi gift set. Traditional game (Tuho), music performance and free legal counsel were also available during the event.

Senior Executive Vice President of BC Card, Mr. Jong Jin Chae stated, “BC Card prepared this event in hopes to share and spread family love during Korea’s biggest national holidays, Chuseok. BC Card will continue to provide events that promote family love and culture of sharing.”

BC Card has been actively promoting and contributing to public welfare through its participatory social activities and social sharing services; recruiting ordinary citizens as volunteer groups for its ‘Red Bobcha’ events and dispatching ‘Red Bobcha’ to public events.
