Title Another Joy for Mothers! BC Card Launches Gookmin Happy Card Date 2015.04.28

BC Card (President and CEO, Joon Hee Suh, www.bccard.com) is launching ‘Gookmin Happy Card’, which will include pregnancy vouchers provided by Ministry of Health and Welfare and National Health Insurance Corporation. This product is to be issued by 5 banks nationwide.

BC Gookmin Happy Card contains the following benefits ▲ Goun Mom Card (Financial aid for pregnancy and child delivery) ▲ Mom Pyunhan Card (Financial aid for adolescent moms’ pregnancy and child delivery) ▲ I-Happy Card (Financial aid for child care center or kindergarten costs of children age 0~5)

Cardholders may receive government aid of up to 500K KRW (up to 700K in case of multiple fetuses) in government-designated hospitals or institutions. To receive these offers, customers will need to get a certificate of pregnancy, submit it to either the issuing bank or the Health Insurance Corporation, and sign up for Gookmin Happy Card.

BC Card joined ‘Gookmin Happy Card’ business in hopes to decrease the discomforts and inconveniences mothers had to experience when they were forced get a new credit card for each voucher provided throughout the numerous stages of baby’s life.

BC Card’s all-new Gookmin Happy Card consists of three different products, each with benefits specialized for baby’s age and mom’s life style. Another great fact about this product is that it has no annual fee.

Customers can apply for BC Gookmin Happy Card in 5 issuing banks (IBK, Nonghyup Card, Daegu Bank, Busan Bank, Kyungnam Bank) from May 1st and the list of issuers will expand to include Woori Card, SC Bank and more from July. CEO of BC Card, Joon Hee Suh stated, "Participating in I-Happy Card business this January and launching Gookmin Happy Card this May, BC Card continues to play a pivotal role as a government policy partner in supporting both kids’ and mothers’ happiness.
