  • Single launch of mini-cancer insurance at 1,000 won per month through its comprehensive financial platform "paybooc"
  • Working with Fintech startups to provide lowest premium comparison for insurance and simple purchase through paybooc

BC Card (CEO Lee Dong-myun) launched its mini-cancer insurance products exclusively through its comprehensive financial platform "paybooc".

The new mini-cancer insurance is available in the financial category within BC Card paybooc. The insurance guarantees not only 10 million won for diagnosing cancer but also for cancer surgery and hospitalization with monthly premium of almost 1000 won(ex. 1,298 won per month for 30-year-old men).

Providing three essential collaterals at reasonable premium is a key point. In addition, users can sign up by electronic signature 24/7 without a public certificate, increasing convenience of subscription.

In addition, BC Card, in partnership with leading FinTech startups, provides customized insurance comparison and purchase services through paybooc.

First of all, it has partnered with HabbitFactory, a startup specializing in insurance comparison, to install insurance lowest premium comparison service in the paybooc "Finance" category.

Typical cancer insurance, child insurance and loss insurance as well as fetal insurance and dog insurance can be compared. After comparing insurance premiums, consultation with Habbit counselors is also possible.

In addition, it has partnered with MiBank, a FinTech startup, and is equipped with a practical simple insurance purchase service that consists of core guarantees. Drivers, cancer, overseas travelers, and dog-related simple insurance policies are easy to sign up.

"BC Card paybooc is a comprehensive financial platform that provides not only innovative and convenient payments but also lifestyle benefits that customers need," said Park Sang-bum, head of BC Card's financial platform division. "We hope all customers can experience the advanced finance through paybooc."

BC Card, meanwhile, provides comprehensive financial services with differentiated benefits as well as payment services through paybooc. Customers can utilize market price inquiry and sales services for used car as well as financial products such as gold and overseas stock investment, loans, account opening, currency exchange and insurance with the paybooc.
